Die Cutting and Creasing

die-cutting1Die Cutting is the process that cuts out non-square shapes from sheets of paper using a cutting forme. In order for a forme to be made, a laydown in either a CF2 or PDF file type would have to be supplied. Once the final laydown is determined, the cutting template will be laser cut into plywood. A metal cutting rule is then bent to the same shape, and inserted into the plywood base to create a very stable cutting tool.  As well as sourcing our own, we also have the flexibility to use a customers’ standing formes and strippers. The diversity of the IBERICA also makes it compatible with a wide range of formes from other manufacturers.
