Job Description:
A challenging & exciting new role has arisen within our company for an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of sourcing and winning new business as well as growing existing accounts. Knowledge of the packaging industry is desirable, but not essential.
The role’s key areas are:-
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with existing and potential customers – this will include a mix of social media, phone, emailing and face to face meetings.
- Communicating with existing customers in a way that supports and develops ongoing relationship.
- Manage agreed Sales targets and administration tasks to support existing and new customers
- Play a key role in the ongoing success and culture of the organisation.
- Communicate effectively with the new, existing customers and all internal communication channels
- Keep up to date and report current competitor and Industry/Market sector activity
- Manage the company’s Sales database
Key attributes should include:
- An already proven sales record
- A professional and confident manner with a real emphasis on team spirit
- Organised with outstanding communications skills and the ability to deliver a clear and captivating presentation.
- Strong customer facing and interpersonal skills
- Able to build relationships with external and internal partners
