fc cartons currently has 4 gluing machines on which we can glue a multitude of designs. Our Omega SM 110, Vega 750 and both our Omega All-Pro 110’s are capable of gluing straight line cartons.
Straight line gluing is one of the most common adhesive application methods. This involves applying either a normal cold adhesive or a hot melt glue to the cartons depending on their material. Team FC always use appropriate application to ensure the optimum solution. Our machines are capable of gluing blanks up to 1100mm. The simplicity of applying glue to straight line cartons greatly increases production rates, saving the customer both time and money.
Often referred to as in-line carton or sideseam cartons, they generally fall within the corrugated codes 0201 – 0215. They are often used to contain food substances and pharmaceutical products.
