We are delighted to announce that we have expanded our manufacturing premises with an additional unit on the Langham Park Industrial Estate in Castle Donington. The new facility will double our capacity. This will house state of the art machinery as part of our new, dedicated cutting and creasing department.
Despite a devastating fire that destroyed the original FC Cartons premises in 2006, we have steadily grown to employ 26 members of staff, and have just celebrated our 10th anniversary. After securing an Enterprise Expansion grant from the Derby City Council Growth Fund, we will invest in new capital equipment which will be installed in the unit. The new area will allow us to diversify our services, improve productivity and efficiency and ensure we are able to respond to the fast moving demands of customers.
We have worked out of two units on the Langham Park Estate for five years now, giving us flexibility as well as ensuring continuity in production for our customers in the event of a crisis. The additional unit will double our space and allow us to continue to offer our customers the very latest in packaging innovation from our Castle Donington base.
