It was a Pink Fish and Chip Friday for Team fc, as Derby Trailblazers embrace Pink Day with a performance that shows every second counts

27th - 28th October 2023

Team fc came together to combine their continued support for breast cancer now – Pink Day with a ‘catch of the day’ Fish and Chip Friday.

Everyone wore pink uniforms, some also added pink socks! Competition winners were Des and Slav whilst Chris was the highest bidder in our first ever auction! All prizes were based around the pink theme, with a fantastic array of prizes, we had received some very generous support from a customer who donated some lovely ‘on trend’ Pink themed lady’s handbags.

Chris told us he was delighted to have ‘bagged’ an early Christmas present for his wife! Everyone joined in the spirit and gave generously to a charity Team fc hold very close to their hearts. Team fc raised a total of £176.00.

David Woodyatt wanted to say a big thank you to the fantastic loyal Team when he told us:

“Team FC have supported this charity for a number of years, the good work that the charity does is close to our heart, our friends and our family’s. We asked the Team to make donations for their lunch as well as entering into a couple of games. We had a lot of fun whilst raising money for this fantastic charity. The Fish and Chips were as always, quite outstanding.”

Derby Trailblazers embraced Wear it Pink and made every second count, as Super sniper Dieterich helps Trailblazers tame the Storm and defeat last season’s league champions.

The players wore pink warm up tops and the fans didn’t let us down, sporting pink from head to toe – hats, tops, hoodies, shorts, sunglasses, socks and trainers were all in evidence.

The volunteers organised a pink themed tombola which was really well supported by the fans, volunteers, players and officials. The Club raised an impressive £124.00 for this fantastic charity.
