As it was the end of the week and everyone had been working so hard, we thought we’d treat the team to lunch. Normally we’d have an Indian theme, but for a change decided to go for traditional Friday Fish ‘n’ Chips.
Daniel from ‘Mobile Fish & Chips’ arrived in our car park at 11.00am sharp, got his fryer fired up and promptly started serving up piping hot fish ‘n’ chips at 11.45am!
The lunchtime treat was very well received and we got some lovely comments from the team: “A smashing treat”; “I’ve never worked anywhere where I’ve got fish and chips for lunch”; “Good fish ‘n’ chips piping hot!”; “Can we do it every Friday”? To top it all, Daniel was even using cardboard trays, (I feared they might be polystyrene) but we were more than happy to see nested trays being used! Next time? An Italian theme perhaps, anybody for pizza?
