All of the staff wore pink uniform, some added pink socks and even a pink wig was seen in the office!
David decided to support this charity this year, in the past we’ve hosted Macmillan Coffee mornings which have been a great success, but he thought the pink theme would work well involving all of the team – he went off and sourced pink work-wear for everyone.
On the day, all of the team wore pink tops, we enjoyed lovely freshly stone-baked pizza’s delivered to the door by the Castle Inn Castle Donington – we asked the team to make a donation to the charity for their lunch and held a pink themed prize draw.
Over the day we raised over £500.00 for the charity.
David even carried on the theme with the Derby Trailblazers – their Division One team played Kent Crusaders in a league match – the players warmed up in pink.
The supporters all embraced the charity idea and they held a pink themed raffle.
