On Friday, 27th September, FC Cartons held a coffee morning to fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support for the second year running.
Friends, family, staff, customers, suppliers and neighbours were all invited to come along and join us for coffee and a slice of homemade cake.
Debra spent the morning serving cappuccinos and Americanos to guests, as well as cutting generous slices of Victoria sponge, chocolate cake, lemon cake, coffee and walnut cakes and cupcakes – all calorie counting was officially out of the window for the day!
A special thank you goes out to Des and Hayley of Freestyle Marketing, who donated some beautifully decorated cakes! David’s individual Victoria sponges also went down a treat with the staff. He has now been asked to supply some for the birthday of Steve, our Nesting Machine Operator…. are there no limits to our leader’s skills?!
We’d like to say a big thank you to our guests and staff who made generous donations – we raised £126.00!
