It was that time of the year again, when Team fc descended on the Marriott Breadsall Priory Golf Club and Hotel in Derby on 13th May for the annual Treetops Hospice Golf Day tournament. This year, the team helped raise a record amount of over £5,000 for the hospice.
We also sponsored the first prize of the tournament which went to Bionical Ltd. Westfield Health Ltd and Newton Gale Ltd came second and third respectively. Players commented that the course was a challenging one but they enjoyed the day’s competition.
Speaking about the success of the golfing charity drive, Treetops corporate fundraiser, Alex Ward said, “This was one of the most successful Treetops Golf Day tournaments to date. It was great to see so many teams from local businesses taking part. I would like to thank fc cartons, the other companies and everyone who has supported our hospice with charitable donations. The money that’s been raised will go towards helping us deliver great hospice care services.”
Treetops Hospice is one among several of our chosen charities for 2015 and this is our fifth year of participation in the annual charity event.
