We are delighted to announce Ryan has successfully passed his apprenticeship and now is a Trainee Machine Operator working in the Die cutting process where his main functions are:
- Setting up and assisting the operator in the make ready process on machinery to meet the customers’ requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out promptly to ensure productivity is not compromised.
- To assist the main operator in ensuring optimum production is achieved.
- Complete all relevant documentation before, during and on completion of any job.
The driving test is a very good analogy, to demonstrate the fc philosophy Ryan has passed his test and now he will learn how to drive! He will receive first class tuition, so he will become a very good driver. It really is a fantastic opportunity for Ryan to develop his skills, learn a trade and add betterment moving forwards for both himself and Team fc.
Chunk went on an effective team leader/supervisor course and came away with some useful tools to help continue his development in his role of Production Co-ordinator. In the future Chunk has said he would be very interested in attending a management course; this is yet another great example of how we invest in both the future of the employee and fc alike.
