Team fc celebrate their 20th year with a day at the races!
On arrival the Team had a lovely lunch in the Paddock Suite whilst enjoying a drink or two in their private box; with panoramic views of the racecourse and close to the winning line so everyone could cheer their winning selections!
Congratulations to our winning charity team – Angelina, Chris, Dylan, Gareth and Debra who most importantly get to share the FC Challenge Trophy! – but also win a bottle of Champagne!
The competition raised £500.00 and we are delighted to be able to donate this to such a fantastic charity which we have seen first-hand the loving caring support they provide.
Our winning charity team were in great form as they had also been selected to judge the best turned out horse for Race 5, THE FC CARTONS HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 3) (CL 3) our sponsored race – The charity team selected Horse No. 6 Visibility, a beautifully turned out 5 year old gelding – unfortunately he couldn’t run as well as he looked – finishing fourth to the Gosden trained Operating.
